Requirements for Club Membership

All members who are using Painted Bar Stables horses for practice are required to take one riding lesson per month to keep their membership active. This lesson is to make sure that each member continues to maintain their own skill set while working with the green horses.

To do mounted work, riders must be capable of posting trot and possess and steady soft hands. Many of the green horses will be doing a majority of work at the walk, and potentially the trot. Cantering skills are not required, however we do require that all riders have a centered seat and can give soft and appropriate cues.

Must obey maximum skills level limits. Not every club member will be allowed to ride or do groundwork at the same skill level of be allowed to do mounted work

Must update their riding weight online in their profile monthly in order to be appropriately mounted.
