Forging Subscription Membership

Forging time for people who have attended the 4 week Blacksmithing Course to continue their work and practice their skills.

SUBSCRIPTION MEMBERSHIP INCLUDES:

• Orientation
• 1st hour Supervised Forging Support and Brainstorming
• 10 Hours per Semester (3 months)
• 2 x 1-Foot Lengths of Metal included with subscription

SUBSCRIPTION SEMESTERS:

• WINTER SEMESTER: January - March
• SPRING SEMESTER: April - June
• SUMMER SEMESTER: July - September
• FALL SEMESTER: October - December

REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have successfully completed the Blacksmithing Course in the past
- All Forging Labs are only held at times that blacksmithing staff is on site, even if not in the farrier shop
- If non a subscription member, each Forging Lab needs to begin with a re-orientation with the first hour being supervised by blacksmithing staff

These practice lab sessions are NOT instructional courses. These labs are independent practice times with staff on site.

PRICING FOR FORGING LABS:

• Use of one of Forging Hours included in Subscription
• Additional hours can be purchased for $25 per session
• 2 x 1-Foot Lengths of Metal included with subscription
  
• $5 per additional 1-Foot Lengths of Metal

ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTION: Forge It Classes
For those looking for additional instruction, please feel free to sign up for Forge It sessions with Jake Mayette. These 3 hour instructional sessions are designed to teach you how to make one new item per class.

• Subscription Members pay $110 per Forge It Class or can use 5 of their subscription hours.
  

NON- SUBSCRIPTION MEMBERSHIP PRICES:

• $50 - 1st hour of session under staff supervision
• $40 - each additional consecutive hour
• $5 per 1-Foot Lengths of Metal
• Non-Subscription Members pay $150 per Forge It Class
